Classic Waffles



Ingredients

  • 210 grams (1 3/4 cups) all-purpose flour

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • A pinch of salt

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 1/2 cups of milk

  • 1 stick (8 tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted


Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together 1 3/4 cups flour, 1 tablespoon sugar, 2 teaspoons baking powder, and a pinch of salt.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the 3 eggs. Then add in 1 1/2 cups of milk and 8 tablespoons unsalted butter. Whisk until completely combined.

  3. Poor the wet mixture into the dry mixture and whisk until combined and there are no lumps.

  4. Preheat your waffle iron and grease it with butter or cooking spray. Follow the directions of your waffle iron on how much batter to add. Cook until golden brown. Take out of waffle iron with a fork and plate with fruit and maple syrup.


Notes

  • Yield: ~ 15 waffles
