Lemon Curd Tart w/ Fresh Berries

Ingredients

  • 1 recipe of lemon curd (link here)

  • 2 cups of fresh berries (blue berries and blackberries work well)

  • 1 tart dough (link here)


Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 ºF (205 ºC) and use a fork to poke the bottom of the tart dough. Place beans or marbles on a piece of parchment paper and then on the tart dough. Bake the tart for 15 minutes with the beans or marbles on the dough and then remove them and bake for an additional 10 minutes. The dough should be golden when it is done. Place the tart on a wire rack to completely cool.

  2. Once the tart is cool, spread an even thick layer of the lemon curd on the tart and sprinkle berries evenly on top. Serve at room temperature or cold and store covered in the fridge.
